Synopsis The Westward Season 5

Three powerful beings awaken, and Sun Wukong helps the Heavenly God overcome a crisis. After the team’s journey to the West splits up, Sha Wujing goes to the underworld to rescue his master. Zhu Bajie causes a deadly accident in Blackwater Town. Bai Lang Xiaoyu tames a tiger in the terrifying forest and later gets trapped by stone soldiers in an ancient city. When the monk Tripitaka and the others return, they free Xiaoyu from the siege, but then they face the Dark Shadow Celestial King. Sun Wukong rejoins the team to assist in the battle. Tripitaka resolves the resentment of lost souls, and the Westward team says farewell to old acquaintances before continuing their journey.
