Since the beginning of the universe, beings such as Gods, Immortals, and Humans have existed in separate realms and have had distinct roles. The God Clan is responsible for maintaining the laws that govern all life. Siliang Island is an exile location created by the God Clan to punish gods and Immortals who commit errors. Situated at the intersection of the God World and the Realm of Heaven, Siliang Island is protected by a barrier crafted by the God Clan. Once exiled, any contact with seawater will be fatal to the Gods and Immortals, and their lifespans will be reduced to those of humans, making them susceptible to aging, illness, and death. According to legend, every 500 years, the “Liberation of Heaven” occurs. If the exiled Gods, Immortals, or their descendants pass this test, they can return to heaven. However, faced with such a long wait and slim chances, some choose to risk breaking the barrier and escaping instead.
