The story unfolds with the sudden appearance of a blood-red moon, an event known as the Red Moon incident in history. The survivors are forced to seek refuge within a walled city to escape the dangers outside. However, some survivors undergo mental mutations, and those unable to control these mutations emit a mental plague and radiation, posing a significant threat to others. To address this pollution, the High Wall City establishes a special cleanup department recruiting individuals capable of controlling spiritual energy. Our main character, Lu Xin, applies to join this perilous cleanup department, seeking to confront the source of the contamination.
