During the River Lantern Festival, an unresolved tragedy involving a sacrificial group on White Pavilion Mountain unfolds. Liu Hengshun, along with his friends Du Shuai and Sun Xiaochou, decides to explore the mountain at night. There, they encounter the mysterious Holy Woman Xiao Bai, leading to a confrontation. As the trio delves deeper, they uncover that the fire ten years ago was no accident. The appearance of the enigmatic pipe-smoking man further complicates the case, shrouding the truth in mystery and pushing it further away from resolution.
